Subtle Worlds
What are the Subtle Worlds?
What we experience with our senses – the World, is not just a material universe, but an occult terminology. It is an energy formation or a formation of Consciousness, with its own laws of physics and different order of Time and Space.
The inner states of being are connected to the different planes of Consciousness and corresponding worlds. So Similar to our physical world there are many subtle worlds like a Vital world, a Mental world, a Psychic world, and many spiritual worlds approaching nearer and nearer to the Supreme.
These worlds and things in them are invisible to our Physical Consciousness and physical senses, but they are not invisible in themselves. By development of Inner senses one can connect with these worlds. These worlds form a part of the universe, but they are in other dimensions than the purely material dimensions.
This occult world is not one single region…but a gradation of many regions, which are more ethereal or subtle in nature and inhabited by beings with a density of that region. In the Vital, Mental, Overmind and in the Supramental world – and in many others infinite worlds, there are beings having a form whose substance is similar to substance of that world.
There are different Planes of Consciousness and there are Subtle worlds associated with each plane of consciousness.
Worlds in Higher Hemisphere
World of Sat-Chit-Ananda
This is world of Brahman consciousness. They are also referred to as the Satya Loka, Tapo Loka and Jana Loka.
Sat-Chit-Ananda is a One Consciousness, a static aspect of Brahman and is also One in essence and hence called triune. Sat-Chit-Ananda embody the principles of Sat(Existence), Chit (Consciousness) and Ananda (Bliss).
Supramental World
The Supermind is the Creator of this universe. It is a dynamic aspect of the divine for manifestation and medium to create the lower worlds of Mind, Life and Matter. Supramental world is also called Maharloka or Vijnana world.
Supermind is a Truth Consciousness and shapes the lower worlds out of an Infinite Consciousness of the Absolute by creating multiplicity out of the singularity of the pure being.
Overmental World
Overmind is the abode of the cosmic powers, whom we refer to as Gods. It is the origin of all revelations and the highest artistic creations.
Overmind Gods have their origin in Supreme and represents one-one aspect. Overmind gods are supervising, directing and organizing the evolution of the universe and earth.
Psychic World
The psychic world is the resting home of the infinite souls. After departure from material world, soul goes to rest there before its next incarnations. Souls are the part of Divine Consciousness and hostile forces cannot enter the psychic world.
It is a world of harmony, in which everything moves from light to light and from progress to progress. Psychic world is the seat of the Divine Consciousness, the Divine Self in the individual being. It is a centre of light, truth, knowledge, beauty, and harmony which the Divine Self in everyone creates.
Worlds of Lower Hemisphere
Mental Worlds
The Mental world is the world of thoughts, autonomous in nature moving by its own way and laws. In the mental world, thoughts, ideas, notions, and all movements of the mind are self-existent. The mental world also has many levels – higher mind, an intermediary mind, a physical material.
Human being is in material world and consists of body, life, mind and soul. As the soul evolves, it detaches itself from mind and other parts, and reaches to divine Self, which is called the Liberation of soul. The soul emerging out of body or life or mind is the emerging soul (Psychic Being). Evolution is when the involved higher Consciousness emerges out of its opposite.
Higher Vital Worlds
It is a world of beings of the vital proper, beings of great power and even great beauty. The beings of vital world are the biggest impostors and dangerous at that.
Lower Vital World
Integral yoga describes that, Lower vital is a world of all the desires, impulses, passions, greed, movements of violence cunning and every kind of ignorance.
Lower vital world is a world of things that are dark, dangerous and horrible. One get influenced by this world by his lusts, desires, passions and ambitions and then these dark forces and beings of the lower vital world, which are demoniac, dirty and cruel. exerts control over one’s nature and actions.
In India, these forces are called Asuras (beings of mentalized vital), Rakshasas (beings of the middle vital) and Pishachas (beings of lower vital). These beings exercise their actions is their own cosmic field. These are the evil powers and some of them are also from the higher world powers that have fallen in darkness by revolting against the Supreme will.
Location of Subtle Worlds
We are in Physical world which is seen in Three spatial dimension: X –Y- Z Axis. We also know Time as the fourth dimension.
However, where are these Subtle words and why these are not visible to us?
Subtle worlds are in different dimensions and so not visible to us, But these are visible to the beings of those worlds.
Subtle worlds can be seen, visited through Chakras. Beings of the Higher world can see the lower worlds even with Time dimension iepast, present and future.
